Häagen-Dazs Japan has announced they’re coming out with two kinds of vegetable-flavored ice cream in May. (Yep, you read that right.) According to the company, “Tomato Cherry” combines the sweetness of tomato with the fruity flavor of cherry, while “Carrot Orange” mixes carrots with the taste and scent of fresh citrus. Häagen-Dazs says the new flavors contain about 8.5 percent milk fat, roughly half of what its other flavors do. That’s great and all, but seriously, who eats ice cream because it’s healthy?
