First three months toughest after baby

A new survey finds that a whopping 90 percent of women lie about how well they’re adjusting to motherhood. Even more worrisome: 41 percent of women say they wouldn’t ask for help — or accept it — from family and friends because they worry it shows that they’re not coping well. Seventy-nine percent of new parents concede that the first three months after having a baby has turned out to be harder than they expected, with the three greatest challenges being lack of sleep, financial pressures and relationship problems.
