Eat a Kiwi to ward off depression

New research finds that eating kiwi fruit may help curb anxiety and depression.
To find this, researchers had a group of men eat two kiwis a day for six weeks,
and had a control group eat no kiwis in the same time period. Researchers found
that the men who ate kiwis saw a significant improvement in depression and
anxiety compared to the men who ate no kiwis. Researchers say this may be
because kiwis are high in Vitamin C, which produces a number of enzymes in the
body that turn produce into metabolic energy in your cells. This means the
Vitamin C from the kiwis may help decrease feelings of fatigue and increase
physical and mental energy.
