Not one, but two new studies provide data that back up criticism that BMW drivers are aggressive on the road and not very nice. In a University of California study, BMW drivers were far less likely to stop for a pedestrian who had just entered a crosswalk. Researchers said that drivers of all higher-end cars were less likely to stop, but BMW drivers were worst of all.
In the second study, motorists were asked to identify the type and color of the car they’ve had the most road-rage run-ins with. Men between the ages of 35 and 50 and driving blue BMWs were most likely to be reported as being road-ragers.
