What’s Growing In Your Garden?

What’s Growing In Your Garden?

This July marks the 6th summer we’ve lived in our Urbandale home. As soon as we moved in, we got busy to setting up our first vegetable garden. There’s just something satisfying about growing your own things – then eating them.

I love to piddle outside in the garden. And every year we try to change it up a bit. From left to right in the photo above, this year – we’re growing…

  • Carrots
  • Radishes
  • Carrots
  • Radishes
  • Green Beans
  • Lettuce
  • Broccoli (I’m a little nervous about this one…look how HUGE they are already!)
  • Tomatoes in the back right corner
  • Bell peppers in front of the tomatoes
  • Chives and Thyme

Probably too much for a 4′ x 8′ space…but, oh well. :)

What are you growing?
