Justin Bieber is facing a new legal woe after he was accused of leaving a paparazzo seriously injured following a reported hit-and-run in Los Angeles last year.

Walter Lee is suing the 20-year-old amid allegations he was struck by the singer’s Ferrari as he walked on the Sunset Strip late on June 17, 2013, pinning him against another car.

Bieber, who had just left the Laugh Factory comedy club with his pal Lil Twist, failed to notice he had allegedly sideswiped someone and drove off.

Police launched an investigation into the hit-and-run accusations, but subsequently cleared the pop superstar of any wrongdoing after determining the photographer had been at fault for being a pedestrian in the roadway.

However, Lee is refusing to let the case go and has now filed suit against Bieber for damages to cover the cost of his hospital stay and other medical bills. He claims his injuries were severe, leaving him with lacerations and deep abrasions on his left leg, reports TMZ.com.

Bieber has yet to respond to the suit.

The news comes just a day after an Escalade the singer was a passenger in collided with a BMW in Beverly Hills on Tuesday, as his driver attempted to lose a paparazzo who had been following closely behind.

The singer is still facing two major legal issues relating to a DUI bust in Miami, Florida earlier this year and an alleged assault on a limo driver in Toronto, Canada in December.
