Hear from local experts on how corporations and non-profits can work together to provide meaningful volunteer opportunities that benefit both organizations. The following panelists will share their experiences, best practices and lessons learned:

Katie Albrecht-Snell, Manager of Corporate Citizenship, Nationwide; Shirley Burgess, Volunteer Engagement Officer, United Way of Central Iowa; Amie Hill, Business Support Specialist, ING; Toni Nicol, Development Coordinator, Iowa Homeless Youth Centers

Networking: 5:30-6 p.m., Panel discussion: 6-7 p.m., Small group discussion: 7-7:30 p.m.  This event is hosted by the Des Moines chapter of the Young Nonprofit Professionals Network. The event is free to YNPN Des Moines members (register here) and $5 for non-members at the  door. Drinks and food available for purchase at Java Joes.
