A team running relay from Jefferson to Des Moines, the Market to Market® Relay Iowa covers 75 miles over 17 stages on a scenic and varied course. Join 6 of your closest pals, hop in a van, run, rest and repeat. The course follows the Raccoon River Valley Trail System, paved streets, and gravel back roads through a diverse and scenic slice of west central Iowa. Combine the running with outrageous costumes, memorable van rides, and a lively Post-Race Shindig & Expo in downtown Des Moines and it all adds up to 1 unforgettable day. This is one running event you won’t want to miss.

Tractor Day

Ride & Drive presented by Van Wall: Our friends from Van Wall Equipment are all about tractors! They will be bringing an impressive display of new and antique John Deere tractors to our front lawn, along with other fun tractor related activities. All activities for this Family Day event are on the front lawn of the Farms, and are free to the general public. Admission is required to visit Living History Farms, which is always FREE for current LHF members.

Flynn Barn Dance
